Local and NHS services

The surgery works in partnership with local and NHS service providers and groups.

111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

In case of a life-threatening emergency, please dial 999.

Mount Chambers Surgery is an accredited Veteran Friendly GP Practice.

This means we are trained to support patients who have served in the UK Armed Forces and have a named clinician with knowledge of veteran-specific health services.

Our accreditation highlights our commitment to understanding the unique health needs of veterans and helping to access dedicated NHS services, in line with the Armed Forces Covenant.

If you or your partner have served, please let us know so we can help you receive the care and support you deserve.
