Welcome to Mount Chambers Surgery
Help us to protect our staff and other patients by visiting the surgery ONLY if you have been asked to do so by our staff or you are a dispensing patient who has medication to collect. We are unable to deal with queries face-to-face. All queries should be made by telephoning the surgery or via email. Please click on the contact details tab for more details.
In line with Government Guidelines we only offering telephone and video consultations where ever possible. If, after your telephone consultation, the Doctor feels that you need to be seen face-to-face you will be offered an appointment either later in the day or the following day. This will also include patients who have already been in contact with NHS 111 and been referred back to the surgery.
We have removed all online booking appointments at this time as we are unable to triage patients that are using this system. We will regularly review the situation and these will be reinstated once the situation has improved.
We ask patients for their support and understanding during this time.

Covid-19 support for parents when child unwell
PLEASE CLICK ON ONLINE SERVICES (UNDER QUICK LINKS) TO ACCESS REPEAT PRESCRIPTION ORDERING.
All repeat prescriptions must continue to be requested at the usual time and you will only be given one months' supply as usual. NHS England guidelines state that we are unable to issue more than your usual supply at this time.
If you have a question about your medication please telephone our dispensary between 10.00 & 11.30 a.m. or 4.30 & 5.30 p.m. Please email repeat prescription requests to firstname.lastname@example.org or order online. Alternatively, request slips can be posted throught he front door. If you have already ordered your medication this will be being processed so there is no need to call to check, this will be ready in 3 working days. We would be grateful if you could not ring or visit the surgery just to check if your prescription is ready as we are experiencing high call volumes at this time and this prevents others from getting through. Thank you.
